Safeguarding Statement

The Neuroinclusive Collective CIC — Last updated: 23 October 2026

1. Our commitment

The Neuroinclusive Collective CIC is committed to safety, dignity and wellbeing for children, young people and adults engaging with services. Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. Some people may face additional barriers to reporting concerns, accessing support or communicating experiences.

2. Our safeguarding principles

Our approach respects dignity, rights and autonomy; recognises children’s and adults’ needs; is person-centred and neurodiversity-affirming; maintains boundaries, confidentiality and proportionate sharing; supports timely escalation; and collaborates with relevant agencies when necessary.

3. Responding to concerns

Where a concern arises, relevant information will be considered and escalated through appropriate procedures. We may share information with statutory services or agencies where legally justified and necessary. We cannot promise absolute confidentiality where there is serious safeguarding risk.

4. Online services

We aim for appropriate professional boundaries and safe remote communication. General enquiry forms must not be used for urgent disclosures or extensive patient-identifiable information.

5. Immediate danger

If someone is in immediate danger, call 999. For urgent medical advice that is not an emergency, use an appropriate NHS service including NHS 111. For a child or adult at risk, contact the relevant local authority safeguarding service or police.

6. Contacting TNC

For a non-emergency safeguarding concern relating to our services, email tncessex@gmail.com with the subject ‘Safeguarding Concern — Confidential’. Initially provide only what is needed for safe contact.

7. Reviewing safeguarding arrangements

We aim to review arrangements in line with services, professional responsibilities and relevant requirements.
